The problem

Why the slice keeps coming back.

Many golfers who slice are coming over the top. The club travels out and across the ball, and you can't see it happen, so you practice the same move harder.

A new clubdoesn't change your path.
A swing videoshows you afterwards.
A stick on the groundshows one line.
The Golf Clockgives you a number to swing to, every time.

How it works

Set up to the numbers. Swing to the numbers.

Lay The Golf Clock down with the 12 pointing at your target and your ball in the open middle. Aim to send the ball straight over the 12 and your alignment is already right.

1

Set up to the numbers.

Feet at 8 and 10. Head over the 9.

2

Back over the 6, set at the top.

Take the club back over the 6 and set it horizontal at the top. Now you have a checkpoint you can see instead of a feeling you are guessing at.

3

Drop it in the slot and release.

Drop the club down so it travels over the green, strike the ball, and let the toe roll over the green on the other side.

Right-handed numbers shown. Lefties use their own set, marked on the Clock. The printed guide is written for both right-handed and left-handed players.

Who made it

It started on a napkin.

Robert and Stacy were teaching at the same range. One rainy day nobody could get out on the grass, so they got talking about the thing that beat them both: getting students to stop coming over the top.

Stacy drew the first one on a napkin. Eight cardboard prototypes later, Robert was still hauling a cutout the size of a car door to every lesson. Then Stacy pulled off the interstate, bought a fold-up car sunshade, and cut the circle out of it. That is why The Golf Clock twists down and fits in your bag.
